Remedy for cracked and dry hands. Is dry skin a symptom of a disease or is it normal? Hand dryness treatment

Every day we have to deal with a variety of household chemicals, powders, dishwashing detergents, cleaners, etc. All these substances negatively affect the condition of the skin of the hands, drying it out and leading to the appearance of cracks, accompanied by painful sensations.

In order to protect your own hands, it is necessary to use moisturizers, as well as protective components that do not allow external irritants to affect the skin.

The reasons

If we describe the causes of drying of the skin of the hands, then it should be noted that this phenomenon occurs due to a violation (lack) of sebum production. This can happen as a result of external and internal factors.

Among the external ones it should be noted:

  • dry indoor air;
  • the effect of water on the skin;
  • prolonged exposure to the sun or in the cold;
  • interaction with cosmetic products and household chemicals that cause dehydration, etc.

As for internal factors, among them are the following reasons preceding the drying of the skin of the hands:

  • hormonal changes;
  • metabolic disease;
  • long-term use of antibiotics;
  • dehydration of the body;
  • dermatological ailments;
  • bad habits;
  • lack of vitamin A or E, etc.

Dry hands - what to do and how to care for the skin?

Basically, the skin begins to dry out under the influence of external factors, for this reason, a number of measures can be distinguished that will help protect the hands and prevent the appearance of cracks, peeling and other symptoms that characterize the described problem:

  • the use of rubber or silicone gloves for working with household chemicals for laundry, washing dishes, etc .;
  • the use of sunscreen;
  • you need to wear warm gloves on your hands at sub-zero temperatures;
  • it is necessary to use only high-quality hand detergents with a mild effect;
  • it is recommended to take vitamins, especially in winter, during the period of inaccessibility of many products;
  • if possible, get rid of bad habits, etc.

Vitamins will cure dry and cracked skin of the hands

Unfortunately, many are faced with the fact that the skin of the hands is dry and cracked to the point of blood, as was revealed above - this may be the result of a lack of vitamins. In this regard, it is necessary to note the role of vitamins in the treatment and care of skin prone to drying. Also, before proceeding with restorative measures, it is necessary to identify which vitamin is lacking in the body.

Vitamins of different groups are actively involved in the course of biochemical processes inside the skin, regulating its hydration, as well as the production of collagen and elastin. For this reason, we will describe the most necessary vitamins for hand skin care and how the lack of each of the substances manifests itself:

  • vitamin A. The lack of this vitamin in the body leads to a decrease in the production of sebum. Consequently, the covers become more dry, painful sensations appear, cracks appear. In order to reduce the intensity of beriberi symptoms, it is necessary to increase the consumption of red and orange vegetables, as well as greens;
  • vitamin B. With a lack of a particular substance, degenerative processes begin in the dermis, which leads not only to the appearance of wrinkles, cracks and a feeling of dryness, but also to the loss of natural color. To make up for the lack of vitamin B group, you should eat chicken eggs, as well as consume dairy products;
  • vitamin C. A particular vitamin is one of the most common, for this reason, its lack in the body is very rare. It should be noted that it is vitamin C that takes part in stimulating the production of hyaluron and collagen, preventing the appearance of wrinkles and cracks. As you know, a specific component is present in citrus fruits, apples, rose hips and greens;
  • vitamin E. The specific component is the most important antioxidant that prevents the harmful effects of free radicals on the skin. In addition, a particular vitamin is necessary to maintain fluid balance at the cellular level, so its lack leads to drying out of the skin. The substance in question is present in large quantities in vegetable oils, milk and spinach.

Effective hand baths that soften the skin

In order for the skin to be soft, moisturized and healthy, it is necessary to use it both for preventive purposes and for therapeutic purposes. It should be noted that one procedure per month is enough to prevent drying of the integument, but in order to restore damaged skin, systematic measures are required, courses of 2-3 baths per week.

  1. A starch bath helps to moisturize and soften the skin, to create which you need to dissolve two tablespoons of starch in one liter of warm water. In the resulting solution, you need to lower your hands for 15 minutes, after which you need to remove them from the container, blot with a towel and cover with fish oil on top. Then glycerin is applied to the skin, after which soft gloves are put on, in which you need to spend the whole night.
  2. Baths based on herbal decoctions and infusions are no less effective. To create an effective remedy, you need to pour a tablespoon of chamomile flowers and a teaspoon of dried plantain and sage leaves into a container. These herbs need to be poured with a liter of boiling water and let the healing composition brew for half an hour. When everything is ready, you need to lower your hands into the infusion and keep them in the container for at least 15 minutes.

You can also crush boiled potatoes and keep your hands in the mass for a third of an hour, which also helps to restore damaged or dry dermis.

It is no secret that in the context of cosmetology and the treatment of various skin problems, there is nothing better than using natural vegetable oils. Update: October 2018

Cracks on the hands are linear breaks in the skin of the fingers, interdigital spaces, palms, back of the hand and wrist. They have different depths and, as a rule, are located along the lines of occurrence of the elastic fibers of the skin (along the lines of Langer).

The interdigital spaces and the skin on the outer or inner side of the fingers are most often cracked in those places where they are most often bent, since the skin here is the thinnest and experiences maximum tension during the usual movements of the hand. However, despite the fact that the skin of the palm has an additional layer of cells and is quite strong, it can also develop quite deep cracks.

Cracking of the hands is usually quite painful and causes significant discomfort, limiting manual labor, restricting fine motor skills of the hand and interfering in everyday life. If the problem is chronic, then it forces you to give up some professions (cook, surgeon, massage therapist, hairdresser). Cracks in the fingers increase the risk of bacterial infections of the skin and subcutaneous tissue and can even lead to blood poisoning.

Causes of cracks in the hands

Exposure to household chemicals

With daily use of antibacterial soaps, cleaners and detergents in everyday life (without gloves), the skin dries out from frequent washing with aggressive detergents or antiseptics:

  • Hand wash with powders or even baby soap
  • Washing dishes with Fairy and other products with a high concentration of surfactants
  • Sanitation processing. nodes with aggressive means (for example, Domestos - an extremely aggressive agent with a high concentration of chlorine, leading to poisoning, see).

lead to the fact that the elasticity of the skin falls, and it easily bursts in places of greatest tension.

Improper or inadequate hand care

Chilling of the hands in cold air, wind, with frequent contact with cold water, ice or antifreeze contributes to the formation of cracks. Very often, the flexor surface of the fingers, such as the thumb, is affected. Cracks can be multiple or single, more or less deep (see).

contact dermatitis

  • Hand candidiasis is a skin infection caused by fungi of the genus Candida. The space between the fingers is most often affected (a typical place is the crease between the 3rd and 4th fingers). This pathology more often overtakes women who lead the household, or is the result of occupational hazards during manual labor. With the development of the disease between the fingers, redness, diaper rash, cracks with a white coating, thickening of the skin, which itches a lot, appear.
  • Dermatophytosis of the hands often affects only one arm. Caused by trichophytosis and epidermophytosis fungi. Often associated with lesions of the feet or inguinal folds. It can last from several weeks to several years. Patients are concerned about:
    • skin itching and painful cracks in the skin
    • various rashes on the hands:
    • blisters, nodules (dysgitrotic variant, see)
    • peeling and keratinization of the palmar folds, cracks and foci of an annular shape and red color on the palms, dorsal and lateral surfaces of the fingers (squamous-hyperkeratotic variant).

Vitamin deficiency

Hypovitaminosis A, C, P give dry skin and its peeling with easy cracking. More often, the skin cracks with beriberi, that is, a severe deficiency of vitamins:

  • PP (pellagra) against the background of starvation, when the skin not only dries up, cracks, but also peels off and peels off in layers in the form of gloves;
  • B1 (dry form of beriberi), when thin atrophic skin easily cracks.

Atopic dermatitis

Hand masks after healing of cracks

  • Honey and olive (sea buckthorn oil)) - you need 1 teaspoon of oil and 3 teaspoons of honey, mix it up, put it on your hands at night, put on cotton gloves.
  • Oatmeal, egg yolk, honey- 1 teaspoon of flakes, the yolk is mixed, then a little warm honey (warm) is added, also applied to the hands at night.
  • Banana, honey, sea buckthorn oil- Mix 1 teaspoon of oil with honey, mash a banana, make a pulp. Apply the mixture on your hands for 40 minutes, then rinse.
  • Potato, milk- grate raw potatoes, add a little milk, apply the mixture, put on gloves, rinse after 1-2 hours.

Local antiseptics

They are used to reduce the risk of crack infection. However, we must remember that this is a short-term forced measure. These are solutions of Chlorhexidine, hydrogen peroxide. Alcohol dyes brilliant green or Fukortsin are also used.

Tissue metabolism stimulants should only be prescribed by a doctor.

  • made from calf blood, improves the metabolism of sugars in cells, stimulates oxidation in tissues due to adequate oxygen supply.
  • Methyluracil in the form of an ointment, tablets combines the properties of anabolic and anti-inflammatory.
  • Radevit is an ointment based on a complex of vitamins (A, D, E).

Means for the treatment of fungal infections of the hands

If the cause of cracks in the fingers is a fungal disease, then it should be remembered that in case of severe fungal infections, local treatment is not enough and local preparations in the form of solutions, ointments or creams must be supplemented with systemic drugs (see).

  • Antiseptics (Chlorhexidine, Domiphene Bromide, iodine-containing drugs) have an antifungal effect by binding to fungal proteins.
  • Clotrimazole (ointment), creams Candide, Candide B disrupt the normal functioning of the fungal cell wall, which leads to their destruction.
  • Bifonazole either inhibits the growth of fungi or kills them by changing the permeability of the cell wall.
  • Fenticonazole (Lomexin cream) is a synthetic derivative of imidazole.
  • Miconazole (cream) is most often used for candidiasis.
  • Ketoconazole (Nizoral cream) interferes with the formation of lipids that enter the wall of fungal cells.
  • Natamycin (Pimafucin cream, Pimafucort ointment) is an antifungal antibiotic.

Treatment of allergic and atopic skin diseases of the hands

  • Antihistamines: all itchy dermatoses require the appointment of antihistamines in tablets, drops (see list). Today, the most rational is the use of drugs of the last two generations of antihistamines, which slightly depress the central nervous system and do not have an inhibitory effect. Apply Astemizol, Vkrivastine, Loratadin, Terfenadine, Cetirizine, Levokbastin.
  • Local antipruritics: Psilobalm gel, Fenistil, La-cree creams, Gistan.
  • Hormonal remedies: for local therapy, ointments and creams containing glucocorticoids are most often used, with anti-inflammatory and wound healing effects. These are very strong drugs, which can only be used as prescribed by a doctor, only in short courses, in severe cases, with a gradual withdrawal of the drug. The effect of their use is very fast, but with frequent or prolonged use, relapses and addiction to the drug are possible, in which case nothing will help, it is better to avoid the use of hormonal drugs (see also other skin diseases).

Fluorinated glucocorticosteroids are: lexamethasone, betamethasone, flumethasone, fluticasone, triamcinolone, clobetasol. They are stronger and have more pronounced side effects.

Non-fluorinated: hydrocortisone butyrate and acetate, mometasone furpate, methylprednisolone aceponate.

Ointments vary in strength of effect:

  • Weak (Prednisolone and Hydrocortisone), but at the same time they have a higher risk of developing a systemic effect on the body, so they are contraindicated for use in children.
  • Medium activity: Lorinden, Lokakorten, Latikort, Lokoid, Esperson, Fluorocort, Triacort, Afloderm.
  • Strong: Elokom, Advantan, Sinaflan, Flucinar, Sinalar, Celestoderm, Beloderm, Cutiveit.
  • As strong as possible Dermovate is considered based on clobetasol.

Treatment of psoriasis

For the treatment of psoriasis, it is better to use non-hormonal creams and ointments, the use of local glucocorticoids is best avoided. If you use corticoids, it is better in combinations (betamethasone or mometasone with salicylic acid, betamethasone with chloramphenicol). In addition, the following types of medicines are used locally (see).

  • Dithranol inhibits the growth of epithelial cells and inhibits the formation of plaques.
  • Salicylic acid prevents excessive keratinization of the skin.
  • Funds based on amia large help restore epithelium and interfere with keratinization of the skin. Ammifurin contains furocoumarins, which reduce tissue keratinization and prevent skin cracking. These substances increase the sensitivity of the skin to light and are effective in conjunction with PUVA therapy (irradiation of the skin with psoriasis foci with a special lamp). The drug is available in tablets, taken in courses.
  • Tar preparations stimulate skin renewal, Colloidin, Berestin, Alfozil Lotion, Antipsorin, Forest liquid, Antramin ointment, Anthrasulfonic ointment.
  • Ointments based on solid oil- Kartalin, Magnipsor, Cytopsor, Akrustal, Antipsor.
  • improve tissue nutrition and healing.

Diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism

In dyshormonal diseases (hypothyroidism, diabetes mellitus), treatment of the underlying disease and careful hand skin care are indicated.

Thus, with proper hand care and timely treatment of skin or metabolic disorders, you can safely avoid all the unpleasant and painful moments that are associated with cracks in the hands.

It all started with the fact that my child and I played snowballs and made a snowman. The weather was not very cold, around -20C and I was without gloves. But I could not even imagine that this could turn into such a problem. It was the end of November, and only by the new year I could say with confidence that I had finally returned my hands to normal. That was not easy.

Dry hands - what did the doctor tell me?

A couple of days after the walk, the skin on my hands became very dry. Although I always use a moisturizing hand cream at night. But dry skin is not the worst. I noticed that redness and small cracks appeared between the ring and middle fingers on both hands. . The most annoying thing is that they reacted to almost everything: hot water, dish detergent, hand soap. I searched the Internet for information and, fearing that it might be a fungus, I ran to the doctor. I have a small child and I did not want to take risks.

The doctor looked at my hands and sent me to do an analysis, having previously questioned neurodermatitis and a fungal infection. The analysis, fortunately, showed nothing.

But the doctor said that you still need to use antifungal ointments for several days and prescribed Prednisolone. There were no other appointments, except for recommendations: visit a neurologist, wear gloves on the street, wash dishes in mittens and use moisturizing hand creams.

I listened to all this and went home. To my great happiness, that day my godfather called me, and I told her about my problem and about the visit to the doctor. She laughed and said that she had the same problem last winter. And this is no fungus, and even more so no neurodermatitis, but a consequence of my games with snow without gloves. Well, she shared her recipe for recovery, but warned that it would not be fast. .

Therapeutic hand baths

A very effective tool that really helps quickly: 2 tbsp. l. starch and 2 tbsp. l. dilute milk in 0.5 liter of boiled water at room temperature. Dip your hands in this solution and hold for 10 minutes. Then wipe and grease with sunflower or olive oil.

It is best to do this procedure before going to bed, every day. The result will be noticeable on the third or fourth day.

There is another good and affordable way to treat handles: grate 1/4 of a piece of tar or laundry soap on a coarse grater or cut it with a knife, pour it into a saucepan, pour a little water and heat until the soap is completely dissolved, stirring constantly. Pour the resulting mass into a small bowl of hot water (the maximum temperature that you can withstand) and steam your hands for 30-40 minutes. Since the water will cool down, constantly add hot water. Half an hour after the procedure, wipe your hands well with apple cider vinegar, and immediately before going to bed with a greasy and moisturizing cream. The duration of the course of treatment is 10 days.

The result will please you . Unfortunately, this method of treatment did not suit me, since I have high acidity, and I cannot stand the smell of vinegar.

But my friend highly advised this particular treatment recipe.

What really helped me from cracks in my hands or how to restore the skin of my hands

In addition to starch baths, I personally also used this recipe: brew 2 tablespoons of oak bark (according to the instructions) and cool to room temperature. Before going to bed, moisten cotton pads in this infusion, apply to the wounds between the fingers, cover with polyethylene and fix with a bandage. Leave overnight.

This is a very good remedy. I did a starch bath about two hours before bedtime, and applied lotions from oak bark just before bedtime.

There is also one miracle ointment called "Panthenolone" . It is an ointment, not a cream or milk. It is important! I applied this ointment to the cracks between my fingers several times a day. The result is impressive!

The thing is, I can't stand it when my hands are dry. This really annoys me, so I decided to restore the skin of my hands using the express method and use several tools and methods at once.

The result of my suffering

I healed the cracks between my fingers fairly quickly. Although the redness still remained for some time.

I did the right amount of all procedures, but in addition to baths and lotions, I additionally helped my body:

Almost a month later, my pens were completely restored. . The skin became tender and soft. And now I know how important it is to monitor her condition and what happens if you treat it negligently.

I got rid of dry hands - here are my favorite remedies

After all of the above, wise by my own experience, I now know exactly what cosmetic and medical products should be at home (especially in the autumn-winter period):

  • Ointment "Panthenolone".
  • Oak bark.
  • Protective cream for hands from cold and wind.
  • Petrolatum (he periodically needs to lubricate his hands in the cold season, even if everything is in order with them).
  • Nourishing & Moisturizing Cream for hands (it is desirable that these are two different creams).

With such an arsenal, you can easily cope with the first signs of dry skin. But the disease, as you know, is easier and better to prevent than to cure. Therefore, watch your hands, take care of them in a timely manner and then such problems as cracks between the fingers and dry skin will not be known to you.

There are people whose skin on their hands flakes and cracks with the most seemingly insignificant external influences. An increase or decrease in air temperature, a long stay in water - all this is not the best way to affect the condition of the palms. How to be, and what to do in this case will be described in this article.

Cracks in the skin near the nails

Of course, external factors play a huge role, but internal causes should not be discounted. Lack of vitamins, hormonal disorders, diseases of the skin and gastrointestinal tract can cause the skin on the fingers and phalanges to crack. Most often, this unpleasant problem is faced by women who run the household, do housework, gardening and gardening.

But men who are engaged in hard physical labor are also aware of this disease. Cracks on the skin of the hands can appear due to improper care, when too much layer of keratinized skin is cut off during manicure work, which leads to the appearance of new cracks.

Cracks in the fingertips

Persons who encounter this feature of their body regularly should take preventive measures to prevent drying of the skin of the hands. Several times a day, and especially before going to bed, lubricate the brushes with a cream for dry skin. Well, if it includes:

What to do if the skin on the fingers cracks badly? You can even use a regular or baby hand cream and enhance its effect by adding vitamin E, A and panthenol to it yourself, which can be purchased at a pharmacy.

All housework should be done with rubber gloves, and in the cold season, before going outside, do not forget to protect your hands with warm knitted or leather gloves. In winter, when the air in the house is too dry, it needs to be humidified. He copes well with this task.

  • psoriasis;
  • eczema;
  • anemia;
  • allergies;
  • atopic dermatitis;
  • ichthyosis;
  • diabetes mellitus.

Disinfect open wounds and improve skin regeneration are capable of such means as the already named "D-panthenol", as well as "Bepanten", "Pantesol". If a bacterial infection has joined the existing ailment, it is necessary to carry out therapy with Miromistin or hydrogen peroxide together with Levomekol ointment, which has an antibacterial effect.
The Solcoseryl preparation is able to restore the function of cells due to their better enrichment with oxygen. Vulnuzal ointment will help reduce inflammation and speed up healing. Anti-inflammatory drugs include:

If the tests show the presence of any fungus inside the body, then the doctor will definitely prescribe something for oral administration, for example:

  • "Pimafucin";
  • "Lamisil";
  • "Nystatin".

If painful deep cracks were the result of an allergy, treatment should be carried out with the use of antihistamines - Loratadine, Astemizol, Cetirizine, Lorinden, Afloderma, Dermovate. The last three contain hormones and are addictive, besides they have a lot of side effects and you need to remember this.
In psoriasis, hormone therapy is also indicated - Fluorocort, Uniderm, Cortef. If there is no opportunity to visit a doctor yet, without fear for health, you can use salicylic ointment, which is a good antiseptic, heals wounds and fights inflammation. You can buy the cream "Forest Power" or "Dawn".

The skin of our hands is most often exposed to negative factors - this is constant contact with water, pollution, household chemicals. To this list, it is necessary to add beriberi and various diseases, against which the skin of the hands becomes very dry and begins to crack. When the skin on the fingers cracks, it not only causes pain and does not look aesthetically pleasing, but also causes considerable discomfort, because we do everything in this life with our hands. To treat cracked skin, you need to know the cause of its occurrence, for which it is recommended to visit a dermatologist. To prevent cracking of the skin on the hands, regular care and protection is necessary.

What causes cracked skin on fingers?
It should be noted that the problem of cracked skin on the fingers is exacerbated during the cold season. In general, there are many reasons why the skin of the hands cracks. These include frequent hand contact with water, household chemicals, changing climatic conditions (change of seasons), a sharp drop in humidity levels, as well as contact with paint, glue or varnish, which inevitably occurs during repairs. These so-called external factors dry out the skin very much, it begins to peel off, and if there is no regular care, then cracks cannot be avoided.

However, in addition to the negative external influence, internal causes can also provoke the appearance of cracks on the hands. These include a fungal disease, eczema, hormonal imbalance, lack of vitamins in the body. If the cause of this problem is any internal factor, then cracks usually occur between the fingers, on the fingertips and on the palms. In any case, the cause of skin cracking must be identified with the help of a specialist, after which you will be prescribed the appropriate treatment.

Treatment and prevention of cracks in the hands.
If it was found that external factors are the cause of cracks in the hands, then they can be cured by eliminating the irritant and careful skin care. If cracks are a rare phenomenon and the problem is not running, then you are quite capable of dealing with it yourself. To do this, during daily cleaning and washing (dishes, floors) around the house, you must always use rubber gloves, because it is no secret that any chemistry, even with a one-time contact, negatively affects the skin condition, and what can we say about daily use.

To relieve irritation and at the same time protect the skin from possible cracking, it is recommended to use herbal decoctions for washing hands. They can be prepared from herbs that have an antiseptic effect. These include chamomile, plantain, lime blossom and others. Keep your hands in a hot broth for at least ten minutes, then apply a nourishing and emollient. As a means of cleansing, preference should be given to baby soap with a string.

Daily and thorough care is the key to the beauty and youth of the skin of your hands. Use moisturizing creams every time after contact with water, they will eliminate roughness and dryness of the skin and prevent cracking. In addition, any wounds and inflammations heal faster if the skin is moisturized. It is also necessary to use a special crackling ointment, it can be purchased at any pharmacy, it is available without a prescription. At night, hands must be well nourished, for which there are special night creams (they have a fatter base). In this case, you can use the usual baby cream. In addition to care with the help of ready-made cosmetics, you can pamper your hands with homemade nourishing masks, which will return softness and health to them in a short time.

If the cracks on the fingers are regular and deep, do not heal for a long time, you should consult a doctor. Typically, cracks of this kind require medical treatment in combination with the use of therapeutic ointments. If the skin is cracked due to a fungus or infection, home treatment can only be harmful, at best it will be useless.

The lack of vitamins (more often E and A) is a very common culprit for the appearance of cracked fingers. This problem is most often solved by prescribing a complex of vitamins. In addition, tocopherol (vitamin E) and retinol (vitamin A) can be obtained from food. So retinol is present in carrots, fish oil, butter, eggs, vegetables, fruits, greens, melon and peaches. Vitamin E in the body can be replenished with unrefined vegetable oils (olive in particular), nuts, egg yolks, cereals, oats, legumes.

Daily care, nutrition and protection of hands is the best prevention of dryness and cracking of the skin.

Treatment with folk remedies.
As already noted, problems in an unopened state can be easily eliminated by yourself with the help of traditional medicine recipes.

A honey-glycerin mask will help soften and give it a healthier look for very dry skin. To prepare it, you need to add two teaspoons of water and a teaspoon of liquid honey to glycerin (a teaspoon). Mix everything well and add a teaspoon of crushed oatmeal. Put the resulting mass on your hands and hold for twenty-five minutes. Then remove the composition and apply a nourishing cream.

An oil compress will transform your hands beyond recognition, and if you do it regularly at least once a week, you can avoid such an unpleasant phenomenon as cracking the skin on your hands. First you need to hold your hands in a warm bath for about five minutes and dry them. After that, thoroughly rub slightly warmed vegetable oil (olive, sea buckthorn, castor, linen) into the skin and nail plate and put on cotton gloves. Such a compress is desirable to do at night.

An oil-curd mask will also have a healing effect on your hands. It is necessary to grind 50 g of cottage cheese with half a teaspoon of vegetable oil. Put the resulting composition on your hands and leave for thirty minutes. After the time has elapsed, wash off the mask, and grease the handles with a nourishing cream.

Potato mask is a popular nourishing treatment for dry skin. Boil the potatoes with the skin until tender, peel and mash with the addition of two tablespoons of warm milk, making a puree. Such a mask should be applied in a thick layer while hot, securing it with a gauze napkin on top. After twenty minutes, wash off the mask, and apply a nourishing cream on your hands.

The following mask perfectly moisturizes the skin, eliminating peeling. To prepare it, you need to mix 60 g of glycerin with two and a half tablespoons of warm water and add a teaspoon of cornmeal. A homogeneous mass should be applied to the hands, and after twenty minutes, rinse, dry and apply a nourishing cream.

A decoction of oatmeal perfectly softens the rough skin of the hands. We will need two tablespoons of oatmeal flakes. They should be filled with hot water and allowed to swell. Apply the resulting mass in an even layer on your hands, and after ten minutes rinse and apply olive oil (you can use any other vegetable oil).

Finally, I note that regularity and consistency are important in skin care (and not only hands), otherwise problems will not keep you waiting. Take care of yourself and be beautiful!
