Paper origami Christmas tree. Christmas tree made of paper for children

It is hard to imagine that once in Rus' a green fluffy Christmas tree was just a tree. After the decree of Peter the Great, everyone from young to old associates it with the most joyful New Year holiday. If we make stars and snowflakes out of paper, then making an origami Christmas tree for the holiday is a must.

Christmas tree on a Christmas tree

This small green Christmas tree can be made by your child to his and your great pleasure. And then tie a thread to the crown and hang it on a New Year's green real beauty.

  • Take a square sheet of green paper and mark all the axes and diagonals on it, folding and unfolding the workpiece.

  • Fold it as shown in the photo.

  • Mark the fold line by bending and unbending each of the four wings.

  • Make pockets out of them by aligning the center with the center.

  • Bend the corners first to the front side.

  • And then tuck them in. We already have a small smooth Christmas tree with 8 edges.

  • Let's make spruce paws for her. To do this, we cut each of the 8 faces by 0.5-1 cm in 2-4 places. To make the Christmas tree symmetrical, you can cut it by folding two or three edges together.

  • The most difficult operation. Bend the incisions as shown in the photo, marking the lines for the next operation.

  • Tuck in the segments that have just been bent.

  • Make a leg out of a smaller square of brown paper. The assembly scheme is the same. Then sew the crown with thread. Christmas toy is ready.

Each modular origami, including a Christmas tree, begins with the manufacture of many identical small paper modules. Following the scheme, you need to collect 5 snowflakes of different sizes.

The smallest one consists of 16 modules and has 8 beams (position 2). The second five-pointed star starts with 10 modules in a circle (position 3). The third snowflake consists of six rays (position 4) and starts with 12 modules. The fourth snowflake has 14 modules and 7 rays (positions 5-8). And the largest modular snowflake has 8 rays (position 9-12) and additional inserts (position 10).

When all the tiers are done, the moment of assembly begins. Put all the green snowflakes on one axis and fasten the star on top.

A modest origami Christmas tree is made up of a one-sided sheet of colored paper. Since this Christmas tree does not shine with anything special, give it grace and shine with beautiful material.

  1. Take a square sheet of the most elegant paper and fold it diagonally, outlining the lines.
  2. Choose the main corner of the square, which will later become the top of the festive tree, and outline two more lines from it, folding the corners adjacent to it to the middle.
  3. We fold the accordion by bending the workpiece twice. The first step starts from the horizontal axis that you outlined in the first paragraph.
  4. Turn the piece over.
  5. We outline the fold lines. The first two folds are made uphill.
  6. The second two folds are vice versa inside the "valley".
  7. Now move the sides of the workpiece as the paper itself wants to fold. Fold up the sagging corners.
  8. Tuck the lowest corner, aligning the tree horizontally.
  9. Flip the tree over to face you.
  10. Give it volume by slightly bending along the vertical axis.
  11. Such a Christmas tree can be put on a festive table, pasted on a postcard, or simply presented to mom.

Fluffy beauty (video)

Although the origami technique has recently appeared in our country, all children adore it. Indeed, from ordinary square sheets of paper, you can easily and effortlessly create beautiful voluminous crafts: animals, flowers, houses, appliances and much more.

Children with pleasure together with their parents, repeating their actions, make funny figures. On the eve of the New Year, you want to decorate your house beautifully. Therefore, I propose to stock up on origami paper and make cute origami Christmas trees out of paper ... Well, and of course, do not forget to call for help from little helpers, so something, and they do the best job of folding paper. Below we will show you step by step how to fold it.

Necessary materials:

  • A5 origami paper
  • scissors

Paper origami Christmas tree - step by step with your own hands:

To make a Christmas tree using the origami technique, we need to take colored double-sided square paper or take a regular A4 sheet and fold the square, cut off the excess part.

We fold a sheet of paper for origami crafts in half diagonally, then turn it back and fold again diagonally, but on the other side.

Unfold the sheet again and fold it in half across. Unfold again and fold in half again.

Now fold the sheet diagonally into a triangle.

On the right side, we bend the small triangle inward as shown in the photo below.

We do the same action on the opposite side. - we get a figure in the form of a square, only deployed.

Inside - this design looks like this.

We bend the right side to the center line into a triangle, on the left side we bend the same triangle to the center.

Turn the figure over to the other side and do the action described above. As a result, we get such a rhombus.

Next, fold one side and carefully bend inward. We also act with the other three sides and get just such a voluminous figure.

We cut off the lower triangular part with scissors - we get the shape of a Christmas tree with eight sides.

On both sides of the future Christmas tree we make small cuts, not reaching the center line.

We begin to bend the corners of the origami Christmas tree down, starting from the lowest tier.

We bend all the corners except the top, we leave it unchanged.

We need to bend the corners on all eight sides of the Christmas tree - we should get such a paper design.

Now straighten all sides of the Christmas tree evenly in a circle. It turned out a beautiful origami Christmas tree made of paper with fluffy branches. Making your own is great! Be sure to make your Christmas tree following this step-by-step description with a photo.

Origami- the art of assembling various paper crafts. This type of creativity was invented in Japan. However, over time, other countries began to make their own adjustments to this type of creativity. For example, the Chinese came up with modular origami. Its essence lies in the fact that all crafts are assembled from the same triangular modules. Thanks to this, you can get a very large voluminous craft.

To make a simple Christmas tree out of paper, you will need 1 sheet of paper. You can take a sheet of green paper or a sheet of white paper, and then color it.

Steps for this craft:

  1. Cut off the excess part of sheet A, you should get a square.
  2. Bend the resulting square diagonally.
  3. Connect the two sides of this square with a diagonal fold line.
  4. Make one accordion fold in the middle of your tree.
  5. Turn over the resulting workpiece.
  6. Bend the bottom end of your tree so that it faces you.
  7. Make another accordion fold. It should fit between the two horizontal folds you already have.
  8. Make small cuts at the bottom to make the trunk of your Christmas tree.
  9. Flip your Christmas tree and decorate it.

This is the most simple version of the Christmas tree. It can be done by every student in 2 minutes. If you want to make a more beautiful craft, read the following sections.

Making a Christmas tree out of cardboard

From cardboard You can make a Christmas tree of absolutely any size. To do this, you need cardboard, tape, glue, scissors and paints. The sequence of actions when making a Christmas tree from cardboard:

  1. Cut out 4 trapeziums. The upper base of this trapezoid should be half the size of the lower one.
  2. Cut out 2 squares from cardboard. The first is for connecting the lower bases of the trapezoid, and the second is for the upper bases.
  3. Tape the bottom bases of all the trapeziums to the sides of the large square first.
  4. Tape all the sides of the trapezoids to each other with tape.
  5. Gently glue a small square to the top of the resulting product.
  6. You will get a voluminous trapezoid.
  7. To get a Christmas tree, you need to make a few more of these trapeziums. The topmost detail is a pyramid. This pyramid will have a square base.
  8. After you make all the trapezoids and the pyramid, you need to glue them together.
  9. To do this, glue the upper base of the largest trapezoid with glue. Put the next trapezoid on it with the lower base.
  10. Glue all the pieces in this way.
  11. After all the components of the Christmas tree are glued together, it is necessary to paint it.

To make your Christmas tree more beautiful, you can glue something to it. By the way, your Christmas tree will look much more beautiful if there is a star on its top.

Cut out two stars from paper. Place a pencil or some kind of stick between them, after smearing these stars with glue. Paint the resulting product red, and stick it into the top of the product. Congratulations, your Christmas tree is ready!

This craft is the most beautiful and spectacular. First, it is voluminous. Secondly, it most of all looks like a Christmas tree. It is carried out from special modules in the form of triangles. Making them is very easy. To do this, you need to watch a video that lasts one minute.

You can choose the size of these modules yourself. For example, if you want your Christmas tree to be the size of a real tree, you can make one module from an A4 sheet. However, most often from an A4 sheet, 16 or 32 triangular modules are made.

Detailed instruction making a Christmas tree from modules with your own hands:

  1. You need to make a branch. Take two modules, and insert the two near corners into both pockets of the third module.
  2. Insert one corner of the next module into each near pocket of the previous two modules.
  3. Collect a branch, alternating in each row, then 2 modules, then 1.
  4. One branch is assembled from 12 rows of dark green modules.
  5. The last two rows must be made light green.
  6. Next, you need to make lateral processes. To do this, you need to collect branches of five rows. They are assembled according to the same principle as the previous branch. The main thing is that the last two rows are light green.
  7. Take a large branch, consisting of 12 rows. Step back three rows down, and put two side processes on the protruding corners of the modules.
  8. It is necessary to make 5 such branches with lateral processes.
  9. Next, you need to connect these branches to each other. For this you will need 5 modules.
  10. In the center of the resulting ring, you need to stick a wooden stick.
  11. Make four intermediate rings. They are made of 14 modules according to the same principle as the branches were connected into one ring.
  12. Make 4 more rings from twigs. However, now these branches should be shorter. The second ring should be made of 10 rows, the third of 8, the fourth of 6, and the fifth of 4.
  13. Put all the rings on the stick one by one, remembering to put on the intermediate rings.
  14. Make a top for the Christmas tree. It is done in exactly the same way as a branch of 8 rows.
  15. Put on the crown.

Of course, at first glance, the implementation of crafts may seem very difficult, but it is not. Moreover, it is very exciting and fun, unless, of course, you do it alone.

In order not to suffer with cutting paper modules, buy a special set of modular origami. The kit will include instructions and blanks.

Most people perceive information much better visually. Therefore, in order to better understand how to do this craft, you can watch a video with a master class.

Modular origami is a great way to develop fine motor skills and cheer up. Try to get your kids involved in this activity, because it is very useful for improving motor skills, attention and concentration.

Now you know how to make an origami Christmas tree out of paper. Thanks to this, you can create and maintain a New Year's mood, as well as make your children happy. I wish you success!

Attention, only TODAY!

The next competitive master class will introduce you to another option for the main character of the upcoming holiday - a Christmas tree made from paper modules, i.e. in the technique of modular origami. The relative ease of making the model and the availability of the technology itself will allow even children to create lovely symbols of the holiday. The main thing is to understand the intricacies of paper modules. And the author of the work will help you to do this Anna Susmetova.

Christmas tree in the technique of modular origami

Hello! My name is Susmetova Anna Vyacheslavovna. I work as the Head of the circle of technical creativity in the House of Culture of the village. Youth of the Simferopol region, Republic of Crimea.

With my students, we study various creative techniques: sand animation technique, trimming technique, paper twisting technique (quilling), as well as the technique of folding figures from triangular simple modules (modular origami).

Today I want to introduce you to one of my favorite works, made in the technique of modular origami - "Christmas Tree". This craft can be a great decoration for your New Year's interior or a gift for a loved one.

For its manufacture we need the following materials:

- green and red paper;

- PVA glue;

- beads for decoration.

The Christmas tree consists of six parts, assembled from triangular green modules - a total of 450 modules. Another 50 red modules will be required to make a star.

Divide A4 sheet into 25 rectangles and cut. We make triangular modules from ready-made rectangles. After all the modules are assembled, we proceed to assemble the "Christmas Tree" figure according to the following scheme.

1. The first part of the Christmas tree. The first 2 rows consist of 8 modules each.

2. The second part: 1st row - 10, 2nd row - 10, 3rd row - 10, 4th row - 5 modules.

3. The third part: 1st row - 12, 2nd row - 12, 3rd row - 12, 4th row - 12, 5th row - 6 modules.

4. Fourth part: 1st row - 14, 2nd row - 14, 3rd row - 14, 4th row - 7 modules.

Now we collect 5 more modules as follows: 4th row - 2, 5th row - 2, 6th row - 1 module.

We attach a part of 5 modules to the fourth part between the formed rays.

We make and add 6 more such details. The fourth part of the Christmas tree is ready.

5. Fifth part: 1st row - 16, 2nd row - 16, 3rd row - 16, 4th row - 16, 5th row - 8 modules.

We collect 7 more modules in this way: 5th row - 2, 6th row - 2, 7th row - 2, 8th row - 1 module.

We connect the resulting part with the fifth part between the formed rays.

We add 7 more of the same details. So the fifth part of the Christmas tree is ready.

Sixth part: 1st row - 18, 2nd row - 18, 3rd row - 18, 4th row - 18, 5th row - 18, 6th row - 9 modules.

We collect 9 more parts from 9 modules in this way: 6th row - 2, 7th row - 2, 8th row - 2, 9th row - 1 modules.

We attach the details between the beams of the workpiece. The sixth part of the Christmas tree is ready.

7. The top of the paper Christmas tree is decorated with a red star.

The star consists of 50 red triangular modules. We collect it according to the scheme: 1st row - 10, 2nd row - 10 modules (put on with the long side out (dsn)).

3rd row - 10 modules (put on with the short side out (ksn)).

4th row - 10 modules (ksn). There is a division into five beams - the modules are put on with one pocket, and the second outer one remains empty.

5th row - 5 modules (ksn). The module is put on two inner pockets of each beam.

8. When all the parts are ready, we proceed to the assembly of the Christmas tree.

8. We decorate the product with mother-of-pearl beads.

Our "Christmas Tree" is ready!

All competition entries

A beautiful Christmas tree is fast and not expensive.

The tree lowered its branches, White frost showered her ... Why is it so close to me, so sweet. Are you my own tree? Green with a silent hello, You come as a dear friend And hope and joyful light Lights up ahead of me...

The long-awaited new year 2015, frost is getting stronger outside the window, children are playing in the yard. Students take the winter session. There is some kind of fuss all around, everyone is running somewhere, apparently they are afraid not to be in time, but where to? Stop, look around, take a closer look and maybe you can see our mortal world in a different way. See how frost plays and shimmers with silvery light on the green paws of fluffy fir trees. Bullfinches are poured on the branches, warmed by the sun's rays of the daytime sun. Crimson sunset heralds morning frost. After everything you have seen, when you come home, sit in an armchair, cover yourself with a warm blanket and, in a great mood, start making a beautiful fluffy Christmas tree.

Did I manage to cheer you up? Excellent! Then let's start...

For the Christmas tree, you will need 630 1/16 size modules, of which: 528 green, 102 light green modules and PVA glue. The whole design consists of 8 parts and the crown.

A video tutorial will help you assemble a beautiful Christmas tree.

You can find out how to cut paper to the desired size here, and how to make the module itself - here.

You can watch how to assemble a Christmas tree in just 2 minutes in the video tutorial at the top of this master class.

Friends! Don't forget my words. Be happy and love your loved ones(they love you - I know it)!

The modular Christmas tree consists of individual branches, so you can make Christmas trees of a wide variety of shapes and sizes. In addition, such branches can be used to make New Year's compositions with toys, snowflakes and stars. The height of the Christmas tree according to this master class is approximately 23-24 cm. For the Christmas tree, you can take modules of one or two colors or different shades of green. Here we used modules from rectangles measuring 38 × 60 mm. But there may be other sizes. You can also make modules in several colors. This will give more realism and volume to the Christmas tree. The modules are mounted on a skewer. A skewer is a thin wooden stick for barbecue (for one-time use). They are sold in packs in supermarkets, in the departments of household items. There are 20 cm or more. We used a 20 cm long skewer. For this Christmas tree, 637 pieces were needed (391 dark green, 246 light green).

We add triangular modules according to the scheme.

There is another way to assemble a beautiful Christmas tree from modules

For this Christmas tree, you will need 353 green Chinese modules. We collect:

or this diagram:

With the help of modules, you can build a voluminous Christmas tree for the New Year 2019, which will delight you with its festive look if you decorate it later. Also, the craft will be useful for children, because the technique will allow you to develop imagination, accuracy and motor skills of fingers.

Necessary materials

  • - brown and green colored paper;
  • - ruler;
  • - pencil;
  • - scissors.

Stages of making an origami Christmas tree

1. Our New Year's craft will have four parts in the form of modules, which are then connected to each other to get one three-dimensional figure. So from brown paper we cut out a square 12 x 12 cm, and from green paper three different sizes: 16 x 16 cm, 12 x 12 cm and 8 x 8 cm.

2. Now we use only green sheets. They will all stack the same. Therefore, you can create modules simultaneously or one by one. So fold diagonally twice.

3. Then we open it and fold it with a book.

4. Repeat the fold only on the other side of the blanks.

5. We reveal. On both sides, we fold the workpiece along the fold lines and get these figures in the form of a “double square”.

6. Bend the bottom corner up to the top of the workpiece. We do this for every module. Turn over and do the same on this side.

7. We turn the fold from the left side to the right side and again bend the lower corner of the Christmas tree blank to the top.

8. Rotate the fold again. Only this time on the left side. Bend the bottom edge of the module up.

9. Get these triangles.

10. We bring the vertical fold to the lower left side of the workpiece.

11. We also make a fold at the bottom by running our fingers along the fold. Get a small triangle. It is deposited in one direction and in the other in the same way. We bend it up on the left side in order to get a solid base for the module below.

12. Then move on to the next side. We do exactly the same.

13. Do this with the other two parts and then hide the small corners inside.

14. Ready-made modules for the Christmas tree will look exactly in the form of pyramids of different sizes.

15. We connect all the green parts of the craft with each other.

16. Then we create the base for the Christmas tree from a brown square sheet of paper. We add it at the beginning in the same way as the first elements. We get a "double square".

17. We bend the right edge of the paper to the vertical line of the module.

18. Raise the lower triangle to the fold line.

19. We make a fold and put the triangle down. We bend the side to the left side.
